The 10th Sharjah Urban Planning Symposium (SUPS-10) was organized by the Sharjah Directorate of Public Works, the American University of Sharjah, and University of Sharjah. It marked the 10th anniversary of an important tradition that began in 1998. The conference is organized annually under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Al Qassimi, Ruler of Sharjah and Member of the Supreme Council of the UAE.

Each year the conference assembles urban/environmental planning scholars, professionals and technocrats from all over the world to examine a topical theme. SUPS X will continue this tradition by examining the theme “Capital Cities, Wicked Problems: Best Practices in Planning and Policy Response Mechanisms”. Al Marwan Group was honored to have been awarded during the event, as being a key player in the construction and infrastructure scene of Sharjah.
