His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah and Supreme Council Member of the UAE inaugurated the new Al Wahda St bridge. Al Marwan Group has expended its efforts to complete the project according to the highest quality standards, as the project is vital to the daily traffic flow in and out of the city.

Under the guidance of the Department of Public Works, Al Marwan Construct was set to develop the infrastructure and other public facilities- including external roads, the AED 216 million bridge took 18 months to complete starting November 2008. The Al Wahda Street improvement project is one of Al Marwan Construct's bigger projects, and includes a double two lane bridge which is 1.8 KM long and starts before the King Abdul Aziz Sq., Abu Shagarah intersection, to the area further than Shaikh Jumaa Bin Mohammad Al Mutawae sq.
